From July students can access their digital certificates from our new Student Verification Portal. You can also print a copy until you receive your hard copy degree parchment. Please note: due to the current Coronavirus situation, our graduations have been postponed. While the ceremonial aspect has been postponed, those eligible will still receive a degree or qualification award this summer.

Arrangements are being put in place to ensure that formal awards are granted by the University Senate to enable you to take up offers of employment or further study. All students eligible to graduate will graduate in absentia this summer and have the option to participate in a replacement graduation event at a later date. Further information will be issued in due course.

This difficult decision was made in response to the precautionary warnings from the Government regarding coronavirus posing an increasingly serious threat to the UK, and the restriction of movement to all but essential work and travel until further notice. Although this will be extremely disappointing for many of you, the safety, health and wellbeing of our students and staff must remain our priority.

It is important to stress that our decision to postpone the Summer graduation ceremonies does not impact on the University awarding you your degree or qualification. If you meet your degree requirements, and are eligible to graduate in the summer, your award will be conferred on you in absentia on Friday 03 July You will have the option to participate in a replacement graduation event at a later date and once arrangements have been finalised we will contact you.

We will make sure that you have access to a digital copy of your degree certificate shortly after the conferment date in July. Information on this will be issued in due course so please make sure that the contact address on your graduation enrolment form is a non-university email address that you will still be able to access later in the year.
